Matlock Advertising & Public Relations Announces Promotion to Group Director on its Reputation Team

Matlock Advertising & Public Relations has promoted Terri-Nichelle Bradley to Group Director-Reputation; she formerly served as Account Director for the 25 year old multicultural Advertising and Public Relations agency.
In Bradley’s new role she will be responsible for leading all of the agency’s PR accounts. Bradley will also be responsible for growing existing accounts, PR for the agency and new business development for the reputation side of the agency.
Bradley will continue to leverage her 12 years of diverse PR expertise on behalf of the agency. Her industry expertise encompasses strategic media relations, consumer, crisis management, corporate, entertainment and multicultural public relations.
Prior to joining Matlock, Bradley served as a vice president of corporate, crisis, and public affairs for Edelman Public Relations, a global communications agency. In that role she worked with numerous Fortune 500’s on a range of diversity issues such as immigration, discrimination, gentrification, civic/civil rights organization outreach, and working to change negative perceptions held by minority audiences of our clients by developing opportunities for authentic dialogues and engagement .
As a woman always seeking out new challenges Bradley also operated a boutique consultancy specialized in multicultural PR specifically targeting African-American moms. Bradley understood these gatekeepers to the home, and she combined that with research so she could develop campaigns that resonated with this vital consumer group. Bradley supported her clients’ efforts in developing meaningful dialogues with this audience. She developed campaigns addressing healthcare disparities, launching consumer brands and developing strategic partnerships.
Bradley has been published in trade publications such as PR Week, the PR Strategist and O’Dwyer’s PR Magazine. She has spoken at local and national conferences and has developed dynamic relationships with the national press and numerous African-American national civic organizations.
She attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minn., and holds a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis on public relations.
